Sloan Business Club recruits freshmen and sophomores interested in finance, consulting, or entrepreneurship each fall. SBC Week 2026 begins Monday, September 14. Our board is looking forward to meeting you.

You don’t need any business background. If you’re a freshman or sophomore curious about finance, consulting, or entrepreneurship, you’re who SBC Week is for.

Every new member starts in the semester-long Board Education Program, then joins one of the three initiatives.

    SBC President’s Intro & Panel

    Learn all about our organization and hear about how SBC has impacted the business interests and career aspirations of a panel of our members.

  2. Mon–FriSept 14–18

    Coffee Chats

    Get to know our board members through informal 1-on-1 coffee chats. Sign-ups go out through the mailing list and are first come, first served.

    Business Banter

    Listen in as a group of SBC members speak about their internships and how SBC has helped them navigate their careers.

    DEI Social

    Join SBC members for Cookies & Connections and navigate diversity and inclusion at SBC, MIT, and in the workplace. All are welcome.

    Resume Review

    Drop in for 1-on-1 resume feedback from SBC board members. Bring a paper or online copy of your resume.

  6. ThuSept 1711:59 pm

    Application due

    Submit your resume and application by 11:59 pm to apply to be a member. The application opens Monday, September 14.

Optional 1-on-1s with board members run Monday through Friday. They are first come, first served.
